Ultramonochrom X Svenja Phoenix Altan

Svenja Phoenix Altan is a contemporary artist, living and working in Berlin. She studied at the University of Arts in Berlin. After a decade in communications and creative direction, she returns to her ultimate passion: conceptual and 3-dimentional art.

Her chosen focus medium is Ceramics. She creates expressive sculptures and objects by tapping into her intuitive feminine side. She lets the material guide her and is drawn by bold combinations of glazes, colours and textures. In her work, she explores the concepts of perfection and imperfection, toughness and vulnerability, as well as the conscious and subconscious.

Together with the artist we have created two extraordinary vessels and scents that are now available as a candle collection.
